CHECK OUT

It is requested that each guest leave their accommodation by 11:00 AM on the day of departure. Late check-out is possible till 2:00 PM, but there is an hourly cost of 10 EUR. Please get in touch with the reception for requests. If you wish to stay in your room  after 2PM  whole night would be payable .

 

BREAKFAST

Breakfast is served at the hotel at SOLID Rooftop Restaurant on the 7th floor of the hotel.

We serve the breakfast every morning at 7 AM, 8 AM or 9 AM to our hotel guests. 

In case you booked room only at Hotel Rum, you can easily book á la carte breakfast at SOLID Rooftop Restaurant.

Book your breakfast now at the reception desk, and we can offer you a special 10% discount off your total bill.

CONCIERGE

During your stay, our reception staff are available 24/7, for anything you may need. We have various activity suggestions in and around Budapest that we can book for you or make any reservations at the restaurants nearby.

 

RECEPTION

Our reception is open 0-24 and is happy to help you anytime. 

You can dial “0” on the phone in your room to reach the front desk.

 

TAKE AWAY BREAKFAST

In case of an early check-out, we can prepare a breakfast bag for you. It includes sandwiches, seasonal fruits, and beverages to enjoy on your way to the airport.
Please request this service at Reception by 12 PM on the day before your departure. 

 

HOUSEKEEPING

Daily cleaning is provided between 8 AM and 3 PM every day. If you would like daily cleaning, please place the blue sign on your door.

If you have any special requests regarding housekeeping times during your stay, or if you would like daily cleaning after using the red “Do Not Disturb” sign, please inform Reception.

 

WIFI

High speed wireless internet is provided free of charge in all rooms and public areas.

ADAPTER

Hungary uses the Type F plug. The electricity supply in Hungary is 220 volts. Should you require a transformer, converters or extra adaptor during your stay, please contact the reception.

AIRCONDITION

To ensure your comfort during your stay, each room is equipped with an air conditioning unit, which can be controlled via the thermostat in your room.
Please note that the air conditioning system operates only during the hot weather season.

If you need any assistance with the system or experience any issues, please contact the Front Desk and we will be happy to help.

 

AIRPORT

Liszt Ferenc International Airport is located 30-40 minutes from the hotel under normal traffic conditions. You can reach the airport by taxi, transfer or public transportation. The reception is happy to organize your transfer to the airport.

 

BABY EQUIPMENT

In case of any extra needs for your toddler please ask the reception. We can provide a baby cot, baby tub and diaper changer. 

 

BATHROBE

Bathrobes are available during your stay for €5 per piece per day. Please contact Reception if you would like to rent one.

Please note that bathrobes are intended for use within the hotel only and must not be taken to the baths or spa facilities outside the hotel.

 

BOTTLE SERVICE

Looking to make your evening a little more special? Our bottle service is available 24/7 through Reception, offering a selection of wines & bubbles for you to enjoy during your stay.

 

COFFEE MACHINE

All rooms — except those in the Light Rum category — are equipped with Nespresso coffee machines and kettles. Coffee capsules are provided on the day of arrival and replenished daily throughout your stay.

CONCIERGE

Our reception team is happy to provide you concierge service. The team are expertly equipped to assist you with restaurant reservations, tickets, transportation, information on activities and anything else you may need. Do not hesitate to contact them to make your stay as memorable as possible.

 

LAUNDRY SERVICE & PRESSING

Laundry service is available during your stay. Items collected before 9:00 AM will be returned within 48–72 hours (2–3 working days).

Please place your clothes in the laundry bag, complete the provided form, and contact Reception or leave the items at Reception for collection. The laundry price list can be found in your wardrobe as well as at Reception.

Please note that underwear cannot be accepted for laundry service.

 

EMERGENCY

Our professionally trained staff are on duty 24 hours a day to assist in the unlikely event of an emergency.

Further details of the official escape plan and procedures can be found on the door of your room. If you experience any emergency situation, please contact Reception immediately.

FOREIGN CURRENCY

The official currency is HUF (Hungarian Forint). The hotel does not provide currency exchange services; however, you can find official exchange offices nearby.

At the hotel, payments can be made in HUF and EUR, as well as by Mastercard and Visa credit cards. In the city, credit cards are widely accepted, and many tourist establishments also accept EUR.

 

IRON & IRONING BOARD

The hotel is equipped with irons and ironing boards.
If you need one, Reception will be happy to provide it free of charge.


HEATING

To ensure your comfort during your stay, each room is equipped with a heating system, which can be easily controlled using the thermostat in your room. The heating operates during the colder season to maintain a comfortable room temperature.

LINEN CHANGE

To help protect the environment, linens are changed every three days. If you would like them changed sooner, please contact our team, and we will be happy to do so during daily cleaning.

 

LOST AND FOUND

The hotel keeps records of all lost and found items and will be happy to assist you in recovering any belongings that may have been misplaced during your stay.

If you request that an item be posted to you, any associated shipping costs will be charged to the guest.

 

LUGGAGE SERVICE

After check-out, you are welcome to store your luggage with us free of charge. If you need any assistance with your luggage, please contact Reception and we will be happy to help bring it down for you.

Please note that the hotel cannot take responsibility for belongings left in the luggage storage area.

 

MAINTENANCE

In the unlikely event that something in your room is not functioning properly, please contact Reception as soon as possible for assistance.

 

MASSAGE

Massage appointments can be arranged through Reception. Massages are performed in the comfort of your room by our professional therapists. Couples’ massages may also be available, depending on the size and layout of the room.

If you are interested in Thai massage or other specialized treatments, Reception will be happy to recommend and arrange appointments at nearby wellness and massage facilities outside the hotel.

 

MEDICAL SERVICES

Should you require any medical attention, please ask the reception. They can help you to find a local doctor, in-hotel medical service or pharmacy.

 

MINIBAR

Your minibar is stocked with a wide selection of beverages and snacks. All items located in the fridge and on the table are part of the minibar.

The minibar is checked and replenished during housekeeping service, and any consumed items will be charged to your room account.

Tea and coffee pods are complimentary.

 

NEWSPAPERS

The hotel offers a wide selection of magazines and newspapers at the lobby.

Please note that the hotel does not offer room service. However, our friendly team is always happy to assist with recommendations or help you discover nearby dining options. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable.

The district has a special parking system for street parking – measured mostly for local residents. 

The entire district is a paid parking zone on working days. You must pay for street parking during daytime hours.

Late evenings, early mornings, public holidays, and weekends may have free parking in many areas; however, some spaces are marked with “kivéve lakossági parkolási engedéllyel” (“except with a residential permit”) and are reserved for local residents. Parking in these spaces without a permit can result in fines.

Please always check street signs and regulations before parking to avoid any penalties.

The hotel cannot take responsibility for fines or penalties incurred from parking in restricted or paid areas.

We highly recommend using parking garages or our partner parking facilities to secure a safe and convenient spot for your car.

 

PILLOW MENU

To maximize your comfort, we can provide an extra or anti-allergen pillow upon request. Please contact Reception if you would like one.

 

SAFE

To keep your belongings safe we highly recommend you to use the safety box in your room.  You can find the instructions in the safe.
The hotel is not responsible for valuables left in the room.

 

SMOKING

Please note that we are a non-smoking hotel. In accordance with Hungarian law, guests may smoke only in the designated outdoor smoking area located approximately 5 meters from the hotel entrance. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the hotel and in all indoor areas. 200 EUR penalty will be charged in case of any sign of smoking in the room.


SPORT EQUIPMENT

Would you like to do a workout during your stay? We are happy to provide yoga mats and small dumbbells free of charge for your convenience. Please contact Reception to borrow the equipment.

 

TAP WATER

Tap water is perfectly safe to drink in Hungary, as it meets all the required health and safety standards.

 

TRANSPORTATION

Our Team is available to assist you with all your transportation needs during your stay with us.

Important: If you would like towels for the thermal baths, please ask Reception. They are provided free of charge.

 

VANITY KIT

If you have forgotten your toothbrush, razor, or earplugs, we will be happy to provide them free of charge. A shower cap and vanity kit are available in the bathroom for your convenience.

 

SEWING KIT

No need to worry if you have a minor clothing emergency during your stay. A complimentary sewing kit is available at the reception upon request.
